The College of Education – Secondary Education Department (COE SED) at Bukidnon State University (BUKSU) continued expanding its partnership with the 4th Division Training School (4DTS) of the Philippine Army’s 4th Infantry Division through the initiative titled “Retooling the 4th Infantry Division Philippine Army Instructors in Functional Literacy, Teaching Pedagogies, and Research.”
This collaboration took place during the first semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, with sessions conducted from November 27 to 29, 2025, at the 4DTS facility in Camp Osito D. Bahian, Impalambong, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
Across the two days, the program covered several core areas:
- Functional Communication: AI Tools for Teaching and Learning (Parts 1 and 2), using Zoom and Google Meet;
- Teaching Pedagogies: An Introduction to Blended Learning;
- Research: Needs Assessment Tools (Developing Research Instruments), Contents of a Publishable Research Paper, Formulating a Research Title, Research Design and Data Analysis, Writing an Abstract, In-text Citation and Referencing, and composing the Components of a Research Proposal (Introduction and Methods).
