Chris Pratt's Dream Collaboration: Casting Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminal List (2026)

Get ready for an exciting twist in the world of action series! Chris Pratt's vision for The Terminal List just got even more intriguing.

In a recent interview, Pratt revealed his desire to cast his father-in-law, the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a specific role for the show. But here's the catch - he hasn't even discussed it with Arnold yet!

During his appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Pratt shared, "I would love to bring Arnold into The Terminal List. There are a few characters, and one in particular that I think would be perfect for him. I won't say who, but fans of the book will know exactly who I'm talking about." He continued, "I haven't had the chance to pitch this idea to Arnold, but I can envision him nailing this character. It would be absolutely epic!"

Pratt's enthusiasm is palpable, but he hasn't revealed the character's identity. However, he did confirm that the adaptation of Jack Carr's second book in the Terminal List series, True Believer, is in the works. Season 2 has already wrapped filming, with post-production underway. "We've finished shooting Season 2, and we're currently in the editing phase. We've locked six out of eight episodes," Pratt explained. The season was filmed across multiple locations, including South Africa, North America, and Morocco, and wrapped in October 2025.

While Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn't been officially confirmed for the series, the idea has been floating around Pratt's circle. "People close to us have suggested we collaborate, but both Arnold and I are a bit hesitant about it," Pratt admitted.

The Terminal List first premiered in July 2022, and to keep fans engaged during the long wait for Season 2, a prequel series titled The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, starring Taylor Kitsch, aired in 2025. Season 2, based on True Believer, is currently in post-production and is set to release later in 2026. Pratt takes on the lead role of James Reece in the series.

So, will we see Arnold Schwarzenegger join the cast of The Terminal List? Only time will tell. And this is the part most people miss - it's not just about the casting, but the potential impact it could have on the show's narrative. What do you think? Should Arnold join the team? Let's discuss in the comments and share our thoughts on this exciting development!
