On the opening day, the institute received a staggering 672 job offers, a 16% increase from the previous year, showcasing a surge in demand for highly skilled engineering and tech professionals.

With 253 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) on Day 1, a 27% rise from the previous year, the institute's efforts in fostering industry engagement and internship-to-job transitions are evident. Nine students also secured overseas offers, highlighting IIT Kanpur's growing global presence.
The diverse range of recruiters, including Accenture, BlackRock, HSBC, SAP, Airbus, PwC, Navi, Qualcomm, and Deutsche Bank, represented sectors such as consulting, finance, analytics, core engineering, and technology, further emphasizes the institute's appeal across various industries.
The Students' Placement Office attributes this success to the collective efforts of students, faculty members, and recruiting partners. With more companies expected to arrive in the coming days, the overall placement figures are projected to reach even greater heights.
